Odaily Planet Daily News: The South Korean government has announced the formation of a cross-departmental consultative body to combat crimes utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) technology, including "digital sex crimes," financial fraud, and false advertising. This new body, named the "Cross-Departmental Consultative Body for Responding to AI-Related Crimes," comprises members from 10 government departments, including the Korea Communications Commission, the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the Financial Services Commission, and the National Police Agency.
