Bitmine to Be Included in Russell 1000 Index Today

Odaily reports that Nasdaq-listed Ethereum treasury company Bitmine has announced it will be included in the Russell 1000 Index on June 26. Last month, Bitmine disclosed that its market capitalization had exceeded the minimum threshold of $5.7 billion for inclusion in the Russell 1000 large-cap index, subsequently entering the preliminary candidate list. The index measures the overall performance of approximately the 1,000 largest publicly traded companies in the United States by market cap. Currently, many active fund managers invest in Russell 1000 Index constituents, and it is estimated that 20-25% of the total market cap of these constituents is held by passive index funds or ETFs.
