Goldman Sachs: Initiates Intel with Neutral Rating, Target Price $150
Odaily reported that Goldman Sachs published a research report, initiating coverage on Intel with a "Neutral" rating and a target price of $150. The bank expects Intel to benefit from rising demand for server CPUs driven by agentic AI, estimating that the GPU/CPU attach rate could gradually decline from 2x to approximately 1.1x-1.4x.
Goldman Sachs believes that as a leader in the U.S. domestic foundry industry, Intel will see near-term progress in its advanced packaging business, with revenue expected to reach approximately $10 billion by 2030. External wafer revenue is projected to hit $11 billion by 2030. Goldman Sachs views Intel's current risk-reward profile as relatively balanced, noting that AMD, NVIDIA, and Broadcom offer more attractive opportunities.
