Hurun Global Top Three Unicorns All Deploy Large Model Businesses

Odaily Planet Daily News, June 25, the Hurun Research Institute released the "2026 Global Unicorn Index" in Guangzhou. The top three unicorns have all deployed large model businesses:

Claude's parent company, Anthropic, has become the world's most valuable unicorn, with a valuation of 6.6 trillion RMB, setting a Hurun Unicorn Index record with an annual increase of 6.1 trillion RMB;

ChatGPT's parent company, OpenAI, ranks second with a valuation of 5.8 trillion RMB;

Doubao's parent company, ByteDance, ranks third with a valuation of 3.3 trillion RMB.

DeepSeek tops the list of the world's 308 newly-minted unicorns, and with a valuation of 340 billion RMB, it has entered the global top 15 unicorns. The second-ranked newly-minted unicorn is Project Prometheus (valued at 258 billion RMB), a physical AI enterprise co-founded by Jeff Bezos, and the third is Kalshi (valued at 150 billion RMB), a company in the US compliant prediction market space.
