Crypto sector drops for three consecutive days, BTC briefly falls below $60,000
Odaily Odaily reported that according to SoSoValue data, the crypto market has declined for three consecutive days. The Meme sector fell sharply by 13.75% in 24 hours, with MemeCore (M) dropping 67.51% and Pump.fun (PUMP) falling 10.90%; the NFT sector fell by 9.99%, within which Audiera (BEAT), which surged yesterday, dropped 22.63%.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 3.36%, briefly dipping below $60,000 during trading; Ethereum (ETH) fell 3.35%, dropping to around $1,600.
In other sectors, the CeFi sector fell 2.33% in 24 hours, with NEXO (NEXO) down 3.59%; the PayFi sector fell 3.18%, with Dash (DASH) down 7.82%; the Layer1 sector fell 3.07%, but Gram (GRAM) bucked the trend with a 1.46% gain; the Layer2 sector fell 3.46%, but Optimism (OP) rose 3.83%.
Additionally, the DeFi sector performed strongly, rising 1.69%, with Hyperliquid (HYPE) up 2.04%, o1.exchange (O) up 35.42%, and LAB (LAB) up 19.60%.
Reflecting historical sector performance, the crypto sector index shows the ssiSocialFi index up 1.09%, the ssiDeFi index up 0.25%, while the ssiMeme index fell 17.69%.
