Trump also criticized the recent push by the US Senate for a vote on the War Powers Act, claiming that this move sends Iran the wrong signal that “the US does not support the current policy toward Iran,” which is equivalent to “providing aid and comfort to the enemy.”

Trump stated that the actions of some senators make his work more difficult but emphasized that he will achieve the set goals no matter what, “because I always get things done.”
