Iranian Parliament Speaker: The Strait of Hormuz Will Be Managed According to the Mechanism Established by Iran
Odaily Planet Daily News, local time on the 22nd, the head of the Iranian negotiation delegation and Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, stated that the management of the Strait of Hormuz will never return to its pre-war state. While complying with international law, the Strait of Hormuz will be managed by Iran according to the mechanism established by Iran. Ghalibaf said that some issues may arise in the Strait of Hormuz, so Iran and the United States have agreed to establish a coordination center and open a hotline to resolve emerging issues more quickly within a 30-day period. Ghalibaf stated that this hotline is not used for approving transit permits, as such permits still follow their established procedures.
