Grayscale Head of Research: Ethereum Foundation Structural Adjustment Long-Term Positive for ETH Ecosystem Development
Odaily Odaily News, Grayscale Head of Research Zach Pandl posted on X platform, stating that in the long term, the current institutional structural adjustment being promoted by the Ethereum Foundation will have a positive impact on the Ethereum ecosystem.
Zach Pandl believes that, on one hand, more development work may be undertaken by commercial entities in the future, thereby reducing the proportion of direct development involvement from the foundation, which helps enhance the overall efficiency of the ecosystem. On the other hand, the structural adjustment aids the Ethereum Foundation in focusing more on upholding Ethereum's core principles as a digital currency infrastructure, ensuring it continues to follow the "CROPS" principles necessary for building sound digital currencies.
He stated that if the Ethereum Foundation reduces its direct participation in ecosystem development in the future, shifting its focus to maintaining Ethereum's long-term goals and core values, it could further strengthen ETH's positioning as a decentralized digital asset infrastructure.
