Kelp announces that rsETH cross-chain bridging has officially been terminated, with a one-year recovery window provided
Odaily Planet Daily News Kelp has announced the official cessation of rsETH cross-chain bridging services across 20 networks, but emphasizes that user asset backing remains secure. If users fail to complete the cross-chain operation before the deadline, they can retrieve their assets through a recovery process: they need to burn rsETH on the source chain and pay a fixed fee of 100 USDC on the Ethereum mainnet. Subsequently, they should submit records of both transactions via email to the official team. The project team will process settlements quarterly and transfer rsETH back to the Ethereum mainnet. Users within the Movement ecosystem will follow a separate processing procedure, but the asset security guarantee mechanism remains consistent.
Kelp stated that this recovery window will remain open until June 15, 2027, and reminds users to only submit requests through this email address to avoid risks.
