According to prosecutors, the two held a family hostage for 8 hours and forced the homeowner to log into their cryptocurrency account and transfer funds. They have now pleaded guilty in federal court in Minneapolis to "interference with commerce by robbery," with each facing a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and required to pay restitution of over $8 million.
