SpaceX trading is about to launch, with opening price expected to surge over 25%

Odaily reported that the frenzy surrounding SpaceX stock kicked off on Friday, with the stock's opening price expected to be around $171 per share, representing an approximately 27% increase from its IPO price of $135. As exchanges need to collect buy and sell orders and underwriters will delay trading until supply and demand are balanced, stock trading is not expected to begin until midway through the trading day.

Samuel Kerr, head of global equity capital markets at Mergermarket, said: "Given the heat surrounding this transaction, we expect SpaceX to surge immediately at the open, likely by more than 20%. If the increase falls below that level, I would actually be uneasy." (Jin Shi)
