2026 Q1 Global Semiconductor Equipment Sales Hit Single-Quarter Record High

According to the global semiconductor equipment market report released by SEMI, the International Semiconductor Industry Association, global semiconductor manufacturing equipment sales reached $36.55 billion in the first quarter of 2026, up 14% year-over-year and 1% quarter-over-quarter, marking a new single-quarter record high. In Q1, the world's top three semiconductor equipment markets were Mainland China at $10.99 billion, South Korea at $8.93 billion, and Taiwan at $8.77 billion, with these three markets collectively accounting for over 70% of global equipment spending.
