Odaily Planet Daily News: At a regular press conference on June 5, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated that artificial intelligence is profoundly changing the way people produce and live, presenting a new subject that humanity must collectively confront. AI is not the exclusive domain of major powers, nor should it devolve into competitive confrontation. In July this year, China will host the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance in Shanghai. We look forward to using this conference as an opportunity to engage in in-depth dialogue with all parties, strengthen global AI governance, and ensure that AI serves the well-being of all humanity.
