ZachXBT: Strongly Advise Staying Away from Rain Protocol

Odaily Planet Daily News: ZachXBT posted that the on-chain addresses of the Rain Protocol team intersect with the funding sources of failed projects like TOMI and Data Ownership Protocol (DOP).

On-chain tracking shows that an address (0xa35e...b8bc) associated with the Rain Protocol deployer and an address (0xa810...d5d1) linked to the TOMI team's multi-signature wallet both transferred funds to the same address (0xbac1...4fb0) in October 2025. Additionally, an address that received funds from the DOP multi-signature wallet also sent funds to this address. The report indicates that projects such as TOMI and DOP can be traced back to Israeli founder Moshe Hogeg, who was previously detained on suspicion of crypto fraud. Currently, Rain Protocol's total value locked on Arbitrum is $27.2 million, and it consists entirely of its native token. The token's price appears to be manipulated through a Uni V3 LP address associated with the deployer.
