Anthropic: Mythos Preview outperforms humans in 64% of next-step research decisions, up from 22% in 2024

Odaily Odaily reported that Anthropic posted on X platform, stating that AI research consists of a series of "next-step" decisions. It selected research sessions where human researchers had gone in the wrong direction, showed Claude the session content up to that node, and asked it to determine the next step. The results showed that Mythos Preview outperformed humans in 64% of cases, up from 22% in 2024.
