摩根大通交易员对投机型科技股发出警告:趁现在赶紧卖出
Odaily Planet Daily News Many on Wall Street are warning investors holding speculative tech stocks to sell now while they can. Goldman Sachs' basket of unprofitable tech stocks surged 27% in May, outperforming the Nasdaq 100 Index by 17 percentage points—its best performance since November 2020.
So far this year, the basket has risen 57%, compared with an 11% gain for the S&P 500. JPMorgan's market intelligence team, led by Andrew Taylor, noted that after such a rapid rally, with potential yields still potentially remaining high, investors should "remain cautious about the riskier stocks within the tech sector." Taylor advocated shifting toward more well-known companies in the industry, especially as bond yields rise, which could disproportionately impact smaller, loss-making firms. He added that stock buyback activity by larger, more profitable tech companies "helps drive the shift toward quality." (Jinshi Data)
