"Fed Whisperer": Core PCE rose a moderate 0.24% month-on-month in April, still at 2.9% annualized

Odaily reported that "Fed Whisperer" Nick Timiraos said the core PCE price rose 0.24% in April. While this is the mildest month-on-month increase over the past five months, it is still 2.9% on an annualized basis. The 3-month and 6-month annualized core PCE inflation rates stood at 3.8%, while the 12-month change is 3.3% (Jinshi).
