Anthropic to brief global financial regulators on Mythos model
Odaily Planet Daily News: AI company Anthropic has agreed to brief officials from the Financial Stability Board (FSB) on its Mythos AI model. The briefing will focus on security vulnerabilities in the global financial system's network defense systems identified by the model.
According to two sources familiar with the matter, the communication was proposed by Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey, who requested that Anthropic introduce its new Claude·Mythos preview AI model to the FSB. The FSB is currently compiling a report on best practices for AI compliance in the financial industry, with a draft expected to be released for public comment next month. Both the FSB and Anthropic have declined to comment on their recent communications. (Jiemian)
