PeckShield: Hacker of Verus Has Converted Stolen Assets into Approximately 5,402.4 ETH

Odaily Planet Daily reported that according to PeckShield's monitoring, Verus's Verus-Ethereum Bridge has been hacked, with the stolen assets including 103.6 tBTC, 1,625 ETH, and 147,000 USDC. The hacker subsequently converted the stolen assets into about 5,402.4 ETH. Approximately 14 hours ago, the attacker's address obtained 1 ETH as initial funding through the mixing protocol Tornado Cash.
