The letter notes that the CFTC is currently led solely by Chairman Michael Selig. If the CLARITY Act is passed, the CFTC will face significant rulemaking tasks, and a complete leadership team is crucial for addressing "pressing regulatory issues." As of now, Trump has not publicly announced any CFTC commissioner nominations, and any nominations will still require weeks or even months of Senate review and voting.
