Odaily Planet Daily News, May 15. According to SoSoValue data, the cryptocurrency market is generally on an upward trend. The DeFi sector performed prominently, rising 5.15% in 24 hours. Within the sector, TAC (TAC) surged 30.88%, and Hyperliquid (HYPE) rose 19.02%, boosted by factors such as the approval and listing of the Bitwise Hyperliquid ETF. Additionally, Bitcoin (BTC) gained 2.20%, climbing back above $81,000; Ethereum (ETH) rose 0.80%, approaching the $2,300 mark.

Notably, MAG7.ssi gained 2.30%, DEFI.ssi rose 7.55%, and MEME.ssi was up 1.64%.

In other sectors, the PayFi sector rose 3.42% in 24 hours. Within the sector, Telcoin (TEL) increased by 13.85%; the Layer1 sector rose 1.85%, with Canton Network (CC) up 8.05%; the Layer2 sector gained 1.27%, with ImmutableX (IMX) rising 8.93%; the CeFi sector edged up 1.14%, with FTX (FTT) rising 5.45%; and the Meme sector increased by 0.11%, with TROLL (TROLL) climbing 18.37%.

Only the AI sector fell by 2.18%, although Billions Network (BILL) within the sector rose 7.80%.

Reflecting historical sector performance, the crypto sector indices show that ssiDeFi, ssiPayFi, and ssiSocialFi indices rose by 6.60%, 3.73%, and 2.50%, respectively.
