Odaily Planet Daily News: Canaan Inc. released its Bitcoin mining business update for April 2026. As of April 30, 2026, the cryptocurrency assets held on Canaan's balance sheet reached 1,826 Bitcoins and 3,952 Ethereum, a record high.

During April, Canaan's self-operated mining business produced 90 Bitcoins, with an additional 3 Bitcoins from customer payments, and the joint venture business produced approximately 48 Bitcoins. As of the end of the month, the installed hashrate for non-joint venture operations reached 10.97 EH/s, a year-over-year increase of 34.6%, while the operational hashrate was 6.86 EH/s, up 10.6% year-over-year. The joint venture business had an installed hashrate of 4.82 EH/s and an operational hashrate of 4.35 EH/s. Additionally, Canaan received a follow-up order from Tether on April 28 to provide customized high-density mining hash board modules.
