KelpDAO: rsETH cross-chain functionality restored, deposits to reopen within 48 hours

Odaily Planet Daily reported that KelpDAO posted on platform X that, according to the restart plan coordinated with Aave, the first batch of rsETH has been transferred by Aave to the LayerZero OFT adapter. The rsETH cross-chain bridging function has now been restored, and users can freely transfer rsETH between the Ethereum mainnet and L2s.

KelpDAO stated that the rsETH contract will be unpaused within 24 hours and the withdrawal function will be restored. Deposits are expected to reopen within 48 hours, and the exchange rate will be updated simultaneously. Staking rewards generated during the pause period will be accumulated and distributed to all rsETH holders.

Additionally, the remaining batches of rsETH will be transferred by the Aave Recovery Guardian and Kelp over the next two weeks to complete the replenishment of funds into the lockbox contract.
