Odaily reports that BlackRock has submitted an application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a new tokenized fund structure, once again selecting Securitize to provide infrastructure support.
The assets under management of BlackRock's first tokenized fund, BUIDL, launched in 2024, have grown to approximately $2.3 billion. The new application outlines a model that integrates blockchain-based ownership records with a regulated transfer agent and investor access system.
