Wells Fargo Increases ETH ETF Holdings in Q1, Significantly Boosts Strategy Stock Position
According to Odaily, Wells Fargo's latest 13F filing shows that it increased its holdings in multiple Ethereum spot ETFs in the first quarter of 2026, including BlackRock's ETHA and Bitwise's ETHW.
Among them, ETHA holdings rose from approximately 672,600 shares in Q4 2025 to about 1.1 million shares, an increase of roughly 63.5%; ETHW holdings increased from around 186,800 shares to approximately 257,000 shares, an increase of about 37%. As of the end of the first quarter, the total value of Wells Fargo's ETH ETF holdings was approximately $21.5 million.
In contrast, its Bitcoin ETF holdings showed divergence: IBIT holdings decreased slightly, while BITB and Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF holdings increased by about 24% and 41%, respectively. Currently, IBIT remains its largest crypto ETF holding, valued at around $250 million.
Additionally, Wells Fargo significantly adjusted its crypto-related stock positions. Its holdings in Galaxy Digital decreased by approximately 97%, while its position in Strategy increased from about 322,700 shares to 726,000 shares, an increase of roughly 125%. (Cointelegraph)
