Odaily reports that CZ stated on the latest episode of the Crypto Banter podcast that during his clemency request process, he faced strong opposition and lobbying from some of his US-based centralized cryptocurrency exchange competitors.
CZ stated, "Other cryptocurrency CEXs in the US did not want me to receive clemency," and alleged that these competitors lobbied and exerted pressure within the relevant US processes.
