美国银行:美联储不太可能在2027年前降息
Odaily Planet Daily News: Bank of America's latest forecast indicates that the Federal Reserve will delay interest rate cuts until the second half of 2027, primarily due to high inflation levels and robust job growth. Bank of America Global Research had previously expected the Fed to cut rates once each in September and October this year, a view partly based on the expectation that Donald Trump would nominate Kevin Warsh to replace Jerome Powell as Fed Chair, and that Warsh would guide policymakers towards adopting looser monetary policy measures. However, this view has changed as economic conditions have shifted.
Bank of America economists now state, "We no longer expect the Fed to cut rates this year." They also noted that multiple shocks affecting the economy, including the war involving Iran, tariffs, and the rise of artificial intelligence, have made forecasting interest rate movements more difficult.
