Odaily Planet Daily News: According to Gate data, Intel's US stock closed at $124.92, surging +13.96% in a single day, with a market capitalization exceeding $627.8 billion. This means the 9.9% stake (approximately 433.3 million shares) purchased by the U.S. government in August last year is now worth $54.1 billion, appreciating over $45 billion in just seven months.
Previous reports indicated that on August 22, 2025, the U.S. government directly purchased Intel's newly issued original shares at $20.47 per share through funding conversion under the CHIPS Act.
