Iranian Official: The US Military Cannot Open the Strait of Hormuz Even with All Military Means

Odaily reported that on May 6 local time, Hazirian, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, stated in an interview that the previous night, the US military attempted to launch a large-scale military operation in the Strait of Hormuz. However, due to Iran's stronger countermeasures, the US was forced to announce the suspension of the operation. Hazirian also stated that this proves that even if the US Central Command deploys all its military capabilities, they will be unable to open the Strait of Hormuz.
