Hyperliquid whale long positions hit a new high for the year, market sentiment is bullish

Odaily Planet Daily News On-chain data platform Glassnode shows that the net long positions of Bitcoin whales on Hyperliquid have risen to a new high in 2026.

Data indicates that whales have been continuously increasing their long positions recently, continuing the uptrend that followed last month's Bitcoin price breakout. Currently, the total position of whales on the platform is approximately $3.5 billion, with longs slightly outweighing shorts.

Analysts believe that the movements of Hyperliquid whales are often viewed as an indicator of market sentiment; the current overall liquidation scale is relatively low and is mainly concentrated in short positions, reflecting a bullish market atmosphere.
