Odaily reported on May 4, citing Iran's Student News Agency, that in response to U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to "guide" stranded ships out of the Strait of Hormuz, Ibrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, stated that to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, one must either accept defeat, reach an agreement, and recognize Iran's dominance over the Strait; or return to the battlefield and bear further consequences.
