Iran releases a new map of the Strait of Hormuz region

Odaily reported that the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy released a new map of the Strait of Hormuz region on the same day. The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy stated that the new area of the Strait of Hormuz, controlled and managed by the Iranian armed forces, has the following boundaries: The southern boundary is the line connecting Iran's Kuh-e Mobarak Mountain to the southern part of Fujairah in the UAE; the western boundary is the line connecting the tip of Iran's Qeshm Island to Umm Al Quwain in the UAE.
