The original intention of the zCloak Network team's project is to return each user's personal data to their own hands, so that each user can control their own data sovereignty, so as to realizeSelf-Sovereign Data。

However, if the user just holds the data in his own hands but does not use it, it will not work, because the data can realize its value only in the process of use.zCloak aims to help users complete data analysis and calculation without sending personal data externally, and provide zero-knowledge proof of related processes, so as to obtain corresponding third-party services.During this process, the data never leaves the user itself, and the calculation is performed locally on the user. After the calculation is completed, the generated result is sent to a third party to prove that the user has the attributes required by certain services. This process is also calledSelf-Proving Computation 。

From a technical point of view, zCloak has recently completed the development of the wallet plug-in in the browser. A simple understanding is to putA virtual machine based on ZK-STARK zero-knowledge proof made a WASM library. Users can install it in their browser, or integrate it into other wallets, such as MetaMask. Each user can use their own data and various calculations required by a third party as the input of the virtual machine, and the calculation process is performed locally on the user. For calculations that are not particularly complicated, such as age and nationality, the process of generating zero-knowledge proofs can basically be completed within milliseconds. After being generated, the data will be sent to zCloak's network, where Verifier will be responsible for verifying user certification data. After the verification is complete, the data will appear on the zCloak network or other parachain networks and can be used by users. Provide various services through calculation based on user data, and use this as a starting point to support more third-party applications.

After zCloak Network entered the training camp, it gained a lot of inspiration and inspiration through exchanges and discussions with friends from all walks of life. After its network functions were basically completed, it decided to let the team lead the development of a product. The current tentative name of the product isDeFi KYC Gateway. We know that DeFi and KYC have nothing to do with traditionally. For DeFi, anyone can join its ecology to do things. KYC is generally mentioned in IDO or centralized exchanges. The zCloak team proposed The purpose of such a concept is toIt is hoped that in the future, a bridge can be built between traditional supervision and the DeFi world, and a DeFi KYC method that protects user privacy can be realized。

During the learning process of the training camp, in addition to technology and products, the zCloak Network team also mastered some new ideas in terms of brand and market, and also learned aboutwebsiteandwebsiteRefactored.

At present, the zCloak Network team has basically reached a strategic cooperation agreement with some asset management platforms, trading platforms, wallet providers, third-party KYC and identity data service providers. The products are pushed to different platforms as soon as possible for users to use.
