Gate上线股票转仓功能：打通美股及港股跨券商资产流转

Gate has officially launched its stock transfer-in and transfer-out feature, supporting cross-brokerage asset transfers for US and Hong Kong stocks, further optimizing its global stock trading service system. Users can apply to transfer stocks held at external brokerages into Gate, or transfer their holdings from Gate stock accounts to other brokerages, enabling more flexible and efficient management and allocation of stock assets.

Gate's newly launched stock transfer service does not charge any fees for stock transfers in or out. The service utilizes the FOP transfer method, where US stocks are processed through the DTC system and Hong Kong stocks through the CCASS system. The entire transfer process is estimated to take 3 to 15 business days, with the actual completion time depending on the processing efficiency of both brokerages and market procedures.

Regarding the usage process, users can access the "Transfer-In Stocks" or "Transfer-Out Stocks" feature under "Common Functions" on the "More" page of the Gate App. Users then follow the prompts to select the US or Hong Kong stock market, fill in details such as brokerage information, stock ticker, and quantity, and submit the application. For transfer-in scenarios, users need to contact their original brokerage to initiate the transfer-out. For transfer-out scenarios, users must accurately fill in the receiving brokerage's information. The platform also provides an application record inquiry function, allowing users to check the processing status in real-time, including stages such as processing, completed, and cancelled. Currently, this feature is being rolled out gradually, and users can look out for updates in subsequent versions.

To further reduce the cost of cross-brokerage transfers for users, Gate has simultaneously launched a limited-time "Stock Deposit Welcome Offer" event. During the event period from July 1, 2026, to July 7, 2026, users who register and successfully submit an application to transfer in US or Hong Kong stocks with a total market value of at least 3,000 USDT equivalent can apply for a fee subsidy by presenting valid transfer fee documentation from their original brokerage, and also enjoy a VIP upgrade benefit. Specifically, the maximum subsidy for US stock transfer fees is 15,000 USDT, and for Hong Kong stocks, it is 6,000 USDT. The VIP level can be upgraded up to VIP 9. The launch of the stock transfer service also marks a significant step forward for Gate's global stock business towards comprehensive asset management capabilities. The platform also supports fractional share trading starting from as low as 0.01 shares, lowering the investment threshold for global stocks.
