Iranian Foreign Minister Says No Intention to Extend Ceasefire Agreement

Odaily Planet Daily News Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi said in an interview with Iranian media today (August 15) that Iran has no intention to extend the ceasefire agreement with the United States and has not yet decided whether to resume negotiations with Washington. Araghchi also said that Qatar and Pakistan, as mediators, are working to exchange information and remain in contact with Iran, but this does not mean that Iran and the United States are currently in negotiations. Previously, the United States and Iran released the official text of a memorandum of understanding on June 17.
