Musk: Micron has supplied Tesla with a "significant" volume of storage chips

Odaily Planet Daily News Tesla CEO Elon Musk revealed that Micron Technology (MU.O) recently provided Tesla (TSLA.O) with a "substantial" volume of memory chips, meeting the automaker's demand for this increasingly scarce resource. Musk stated that amid a shortage of memory chips and high prices, the terms of the chip transaction provided by Micron to Tesla were very reasonable. In the long term, Musk is committed to producing semiconductors in-house. The billionaire has initiated an ambitious plan called "Terafab," aimed at producing computing chips and memory chips on an unprecedented scale. For now, however, Tesla still needs to rely on Micron.
