Ionic Digital Secures SEC Registration Statement Effectiveness, Set to List on Nasdaq on July 28
According to Odaily, Bitcoin mining company Ionic Digital has announced that its registration statement has been declared effective by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The company is expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on July 28, 2026, under the ticker symbol "IOND."
The listing will be executed through a Direct Listing method, rather than a traditional Initial Public Offering (IPO). The company will not issue new shares or raise funds through the listing process; instead, it will allow existing registered shareholders to sell their held shares directly on the open market.
Ionic Digital stated that this listing will provide a liquidity channel for its shareholders, including a significant number of investors who obtained company shares due to the bankruptcy restructuring of crypto lending platform Celsius Network. (Theenergymag)
