Six of the top 12 Ethereum wallets, controlled by exchanges, hold 6.6605 million ETH

Odaily reported that on-chain data shows the top 12 Ethereum addresses include staking infrastructure, the WETH contract, exchange wallets, L2 bridges, and one address identified by Arkham Intelligence. Among them, the Beacon Deposit Contract holds 88.2898 million ETH, accounting for 73.16% of the total holdings of the top 12 wallets.

The Wrapped Ether contract holds 2.4431 million ETH, ranking second. Binance controls a total of 3.1906 million ETH through three wallets: Binance 7, Binance Hot Wallet 20, and Binance-Peg Tokens, valued at approximately $5.9 billion at $1,860, making it the largest exchange holder among the top 12 wallets.

Robinhood's two wallets hold a combined 1.5885 million ETH, worth approximately $2.9 billion; the Upbit wallet holds 1.046 million ETH; Bitfinex holds 450,100 ETH; and the Gemini cold wallet holds 385,300 ETH. The wallets controlled by exchanges collectively hold 6.6605 million ETH, accounting for about 5.52% of the reference supply of 120.68285 million ETH.

Among L2-related addresses, the Arbitrum Bridge holds 819,700 ETH, and the Base Portal holds 807,100 ETH. Excluding network infrastructure like the Beacon Deposit Contract and Wrapped Ether, the remaining 10 wallets collectively hold 8.2873 million ETH.
