BofA: SK Hynix’s New Capacity by 2028 May Be Only One-Sixth of Original Plan

Odaily Planet Daily News A report from Bank of America indicates that due to factory closures caused by technological upgrades, the actual annual growth rate of South Korea’s wafer production capacity will be lower than 10%, far short of the official target of doubling capacity by 2030. SK Hynix’s new memory capacity by 2028 could be only one-sixth of the original plan.
