According to a statement from the Hormozgan Province government, an exchange of fire occurred in the Strait of Hormuz, with explosions heard in the province's coastal counties, Bandar Abbas, and islands in the Persian Gulf. Multiple explosions were reported in Sirik County, Hormozgan Province, possibly linked to an exchange of fire in nearby waters. Sirik is located at the entrance of the Strait of Hormuz.
