Trump crypto project cashes out $1.4 billion, funds shifted to stocks and bonds, with portfolio valuation reaching up to $2.6 billion
Odaily reported that the U.S. Office of Government Ethics disclosed Trump's 2025 annual financial report. According to Reuters' interpretation of the document, Trump generated over $1.4 billion in revenue through his family crypto project World Liberty Financial and his personal namesake meme coin. A significant portion of these substantial crypto earnings was allocated to traditional stable assets such as stocks and bonds. As of the end of 2025, the valuation range of his equity and bond portfolio was between $703 million and $2.6 billion, representing substantial growth compared to the $225 million to $608 million range at the end of 2024. The market has raised questions about this: Trump publicly promotes crypto-friendly policies, yet he has cashed out crypto assets to shift toward traditional finance. In response to the controversy, the Trump family business stated that the financial report reflects sufficient liquidity and a solid balance sheet; the White House responded that his assets are managed independently by a third-party fully discretionary account, and he himself does not participate in investment decisions.
