Odaily Planet Daily News: Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas posted on platform X, stating that he originally planned to examine how much cash leveraged ETFs have consumed since their launch and compare it with the $750 billion in losses caused by the underperformance of active mutual funds. However, after calculating, he found that these products have actually generated $66 billion in cash for traders who use them. Many leveraged ETFs, such as TQQQ, have surged by 38,000%, yet still experienced capital outflows, meaning traders were taking profits. This data has already accounted for volatility decay and includes -2x funds.
