Bitget CEO: Under Sudden Changes in the Middle East Situation, Weekend Trading Volume of US Stock Tokens Surges 10x

Odaily Planet Daily News: Bitget CEO Gracy Chen posted on the X platform, pointing out that the situation in the Middle East changed drastically over the weekend. When traditional US stock markets were closed and global traders were looking for an outlet, Bitget's US stock tokens (rToken), as RWA assets supporting 24/7 trading, absorbed the overflow of trading demand. Data shows that the trading volume of rToken over the weekend reached 10 times that of the previous week, an increase of about 2.2 times compared to the average weekend volume in June. Among them, rNVDA, rMU, and rGOOGL ranked as the top three by trading volume, and the weekend US stock trading activity of the platform's VIP users was stronger than the user average.

Gracy Chen emphasized that although the absolute value of weekend US stock token trading volume is still in its early stages, moments of market volatility have highlighted the importance of 24/7 trading.
