HSBC completes Hong Kong's first issuance of natively digitized structured products

Odaily Planet Daily News: HSBC completed Hong Kong's first issuance of natively digitized structured products, in the form of a private placement of USD-denominated notes. The notes were issued directly on the blockchain, rather than being digitized after the fact. Marketnode served as the tokenization agent and digital payment agent, managing the flow of payments between the issuer and investors. Previously, HSBC, together with Marketnode and UOB, participated in the Monetary Authority of Singapore's Project Guardian initiative and submitted a case study on the issuance of digitally native structured notes.
