BitGo will launch a quantum-resistant security tool for Bitcoin wallets to help institutions mitigate quantum computing risks

Odaily Planet Daily reported that digital asset custody platform BitGo has announced plans to launch a quantum-resistant security tool for Bitcoin wallets in the coming weeks. This tool aims to help institutional clients assess, manage, and mitigate risks related to quantum computing for UTXO wallets. Built on BitGo's multi-signature security architecture, the new tool will add wallet key exposure management and UTXO optimization features. It also includes a UTXO grouping scheme for which a provisional patent application has been filed, aimed at reducing security risks associated with partial fund spending. (The Block)
