Odaily Planet Daily News According to market sources: Intel has confirmed price increases for some consumer and server CPUs, citing rising supply chain costs and demand exceeding supply. Consumer processor prices have risen by $30 to $50, while data center-level products have seen increases of hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
Investment bank Wedbush believes that Intel still has the ability to implement price increases without affecting market demand. Wedbush analyst Matt Bryson wrote in a report to clients: "Given the ongoing supply shortage of server CPUs, we believe Intel still has room to raise prices without impacting demand."
