German Foreign Minister: Time Has Come for Iran and the US to Engage in Genuine Negotiations

Odaily reports that the German Foreign Minister stated the time has come for Iran and the United States to engage in genuine negotiations, calling on both countries to de-escalate. Germany, along with other nations including France and the UK, is ready to participate in mine-clearing operations in the Strait of Hormuz. Global oil inventories are not in a dangerous phase, and appropriate conditions must be provided for clearing mines in the Strait of Hormuz. An agreement needs to be reached with Iran and Oman.
