Zcash new privacy pool Ironwood to adopt formal verification, aiming to eradicate undetectable inflation vulnerabilities

Odaily Planet Daily News, the Zcash development team announced plans to introduce formal verification through the upcoming new privacy pool Ironwood, using mathematical proofs to eliminate the risk of "Undetectable Counterfeiting."

Previously, although the vulnerability in the Orchard shielded pool had been fixed and there was no evidence of exploitation, since it is theoretically impossible to confirm through on-chain history whether covert inflation had occurred, the community decided to launch a new Ironwood shielded pool and conduct comprehensive formal verification of its protocol.
