ZachXBT: Hacker withdraws 3200 ETH, launders ~$5.5M via Circle CCTP cross-chain bridge

Odaily Planet Daily News According to monitoring by ZachXBT, a hacker withdrew approximately 3,200 ETH through Tornado Cash between July 2nd and 3rd. The funds are linked to two private key leakage incidents. Subsequently, the hacker laundered approximately $5.5 million in assets through Circle's CCTP cross-chain bridge, transferring USDC to 7 deposit addresses on the Arbitrum network.

ZachXBT stated that the fund flow exhibits a decentralized laundering path, utilizing mixing tools and cross-chain infrastructure to reduce the difficulty of tracking. Relevant on-chain assets are still in continuous circulation.
