The anonymous coin holder raised a core legal argument: a Bitcoin address is merely a string of data characters on the blockchain and does not constitute a legal entity under the law, therefore it is not eligible to be sued. Additionally, industry perspectives highlight a fatal technical flaw in the case: even if the court ultimately rules in favor of the plaintiff's claim for ownership confirmation, without possessing the corresponding private keys, the plaintiff would be unable to transfer or control these Bitcoin assets on-chain, rendering the judgment practically unenforceable.
